Privacy Policy
Last updated 21 September 2026
Beersheba Well (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates beershebawell.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this site or buy from us, why we collect it, and how it is handled.
Who we are
Beersheba Well is a web design and managed hosting studio based in Penang, Malaysia. You can reach us at beersheba.well@gmail.com.
Information we collect when you order
When you choose a package and check out, we collect the details you enter in the checkout form – your name, email address, billing address and phone number if provided – along with a record of what you purchased and the order total. This information is stored in our WooCommerce order system so we can fulfil your order, keep a record for support and accounting purposes, and contact you about your project.
Payment information (Stripe)
Payments on this site are processed by Stripe. Your card number, expiry date and CVC are entered directly into Stripe’s own secure payment form and are sent straight to Stripe – they never pass through or get stored on our own servers or database. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, together with a transaction reference. Stripe is a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor; you can read how Stripe handles your data in Stripe’s own privacy policy.
The Weekly Feed (email list)
If you sign up for the Weekly Feed at the bottom of our site, we collect your first name, last name and email address. This information is passed to Mailchimp, the email service we use to send the Weekly Feed, offers and updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send, or by contacting us directly.
Booking a Discovery Call (Calendly)
After checkout, you may book a Discovery Call through the Calendly scheduler embedded on our site. Calendly handles the scheduling directly and collects the details you provide there (such as your name, email and chosen time slot) under its own privacy policy, available at calendly.com/privacy.
Cookies, consent and your region
We use essential cookies to run the shopping cart and checkout (so WooCommerce can remember what’s in your cart and keep you signed in through the payment step) – these can’t be switched off. Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit), Mailchimp’s cart-tracking cookie, and the Calendly booking widget only run once you’ve given consent for those categories, or by default outside regions with opt-in requirements. If you’re visiting from the European Economic Area, UK, Switzerland, or Brazil, nothing beyond essential cookies loads until you choose. You can accept, reject, or customise your choice at any time via the Cookie Preferences link in the site footer. Full detail on every cookie we use is in our Cookie Policy.
We also use your IP address, on every visit, to work out roughly which country you’re in – this is only used to decide which cookie rules to show you and is not stored as a personal tracking profile. We do not collect your precise device location (GPS), and we never make location tracking mandatory.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run this site and fulfil your order:
- Stripe – to process payment.
- Mailchimp – to send the Weekly Feed, only if you subscribe.
- Calendly – to schedule your Discovery Call, only if you book one.
- Google – for site analytics.
- Hostinger, our hosting provider – to store the site and its database.
We may also disclose information where required by law.
How long we keep your data
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as required under Malaysian accounting and tax law. Weekly Feed subscriber details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.
Your rights
Under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA), you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to what we’re required to keep for legal, accounting or security reasons).
If you’re in the European Economic Area or UK, you have equivalent rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to processing, plus the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you’re a California resident (or in a US state with a similar law), you have the right to know what we collect, request deletion, and opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information – which you can exercise via the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer. If you’re in Brazil, you have equivalent rights under the LGPD.
To make any of these requests, email beersheba.well@gmail.com.
Security
We do not store your card details ourselves – that is handled entirely by Stripe. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to keep the personal data we do hold, such as your order and contact details, secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our site and services change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
